The Space

Part black-box theatre, part living room, all heart.

Kindred Studio is an intimate performance space where nothing is scripted and everyone is welcome. Bare stage, warm lights, a crowd close enough to be part of the show — it's where Chiang Mai comes to play.

By night it's improv jams, stand-up sets and one-off happenings. By day it's a studio for workshops, rehearsals and anyone brave enough to try something new on their feet.

    Stand-up, open mics and headline sets from local voices and touring acts.

    Cabaret, storytelling, music and the odd experiment that defies a category.

The Kindred Caravan

The Studio, packed up and taken to the party.

The Kindred Caravan is our roadshow rig — a full stage that rolls out to music festivals doing everything the venue does, out under the open sky. Improv sets between the headliners, comedy at midnight, workshops in the afternoon sun.

What it is

A mobile version of Kindred Studio: stage, lights, sound and a troupe, ready to drop into a festival field and turn a tent into a theatre.
